Justin Theroux’s War With His Neighbor Continues – He Called 911 After Recording Him Allegedly Threatening His Wife

Actor Justin Theroux has been at war with his neighbor for three years now, TMZ reported. Justin is now claiming that he has a recording of his neighbor threatening his wife.

According to the legal documents obtained by the entertainment news outlet, TMZ, Justin is looking to get civil or criminal punishment for Norman Resnicow, his neighbor in New York City.

The man’s supposed violent outbursts violate the restraining order put in place by Justin and his attorney, the actor’s lawyer says in the court documents. Theroux claims that as a consequence of his restraining order, Resnicow can’t harass, intimidate, or bully other residents in the building, and that includes his own wife.

Back in March, Andrew Cuomo, the governor of New York, issued a stay-at-home order and Theroux claims that Resnicow’s behavior toward his wife has only intensified since the quarantine began.

Just two days after the mandate was issued by the government, Resnicow supposedly locked his wife out of their home because she didn’t have a mask. The man reportedly screamed at his wife to leave because he was fearful of the coronavirus.

Mr. Theroux recorded the incident in question and also called the police on him, stating that he feared for her safety. And on the 30th of April, there was another incident in which Theroux was prompted to call the police.

Apparently, these aren’t the only outbursts from Mr. Resnicow either. On the 3rd of May, Justin says he heard a loud argument between Resnicow and his wife. In the recording, Resnicow allegedly says to his wife that she can’t go outside otherwise he would break her teeth.

According to Justin, he did phone the police, and they came to see what was going on, but he was completely unaware of how the authorities mitigated the situation.

Furthermore, Theroux says that the incidents in question often leave him with feelings of anxiety that last a long time after they occur. As a result of the entire fiasco, Justin wants Resnicow held in contempt. The actor also wants the man either fined or imprisoned.
