Haaland out for trip to basement boys
by BeSoccerBorussia Dortmund say that the knee injury Erling Haaland suffered against Bayern is not serious, although 'Kicker' ruled him out of the trip away to Paderborn this weekend.
Dortmund's loss against Bayern Munich came at a heavy price. As well as basically losing all chance of fighting for the Bundesliga title, Favre's men were lost Haaland, who had to go off injured halfway through the second half.
The problems in his left knee are not serious, at least that is what the German club said. However, no medical report has been published. 'Kicker' said that he will not be available for the match against Paderborn this weekend.
Haaland, Dortmund's star player, could not have had a worse day at the office. As well as nothing going right for him on the pitch, the VAR failed to buzz in and give Dortmund a clear penalty for handball by Boateng. To make things worse, he got injured after accidentally colliding with the referee.
The Norwegian's aim is to be fit for the following match which is at home to Hertha Berlin on 6th June.
