Diego Costa had to see it coming, as the news about his accusation of having defrauded the treasury of a million euros jumped out a year ago. The judge accused him, according to 'AS', of having paid in 2014 almost 1,400,000 euros for his image rights through third parties.
Now, the Public Prosecutor's Office has filed a request for a sentence. He is asking for six months in prison and a fine of just over half a million euros. The trial will take place in the Provincial Court next Thursday.
