New teaser video released for Final Fantasy 7 PC Fan Remaster Remako HD Graphics Mod Version 2.0

The Final Fantasy 7 Remako HD Graphics Mod is a must-have mod for all FFVII PC fans out there. This mod uses AI techniques in order to upscale all of the game’s pre-rendered backgrounds, battle, world textures, as well as the game’s full-motion videos (FMVs). And today, we are happy to report that modder CaptRobau is working on its next version.

Version 2.0 of the Remako Mod will bring HD magic textures. Naturally, the modder used AI techniques in order to upscale these textures. As such, these new HD textures retain the game’s original artistic style.

In order to showcase these new HD magic textures, the modder released the following comparison video. Moreover, CaptRobau claims that version 2.0 will see a lot of new features. My guess is that the modder will reveal these new features via future teaser videos, so stay tuned for more.

By using this mod, PC gamers can basically experience a properly remastered version of the classic Final Fantasy VII game. It’s also worth noting Final Fantasy VII Remako HD Graphics Mod is compatible with many other mods, such as The Reunion (R03C) or 3D model mods, for the ultimate Final Fantasy 7 experience.
