05 Read JK Rowling’s latest
That too for free. Over the next seven weeks, the creator of the Harry Potter series will be releasing instalments of The Ickabog — a story aimed at younger kids. In her blog, she explains that she had been writing and reading chapters from it to her own kids a long time ago, but forgot about the story because she decided to focus on a book for adults instead. The lockdown made her revisit the tale and re-write portions of it, which she will now put online for free. The fun part about this project is that she is inviting children to illustrate the book for her, which can wind up in the printed edition of the book, and is due to release in November. Rowling also shares that all the royalties she makes from this book will be donated to help those affected by the coronavirus. Visit: www. theickabog. com
