Bansal terms Modi-2.0 anniversary big zero; launches ‘zero hour’

Former Union Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal while launching a social media program called "zero hour", termed the first year of Modi-2.0 government as a big zero.  Bansal said, the work of the government seems limited to just two slogans -‘ache din’ and ‘atamnirbhar’- while the people have got only disappointment. For the last three years, the economy of the country was deteriorating, now it has blisters on its feet and it is on the hospital bed, he said. Referring to Chandigarh, Bansal said that Chandigarh continued to be starved of funds which had a telling effect on the city's life. Following the footsteps of the Government of India, the Administration recently rubbed salt on the wounds of the helpless people by slapping an additional usurious cess of Rs 2.80 per litre on petrol and diesel. Likewise, levy of cow cess and increase in property tax have put extra burden on the residents, he said.
