Pankaj Vatsal nominated in IIAB Mgmt panel

Media Incharge of Birsa agricultural University (BAU) and social activist Pankaj Vatsal has been nominated as a member of 7-member institute management committee (IMC) of Indian Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology, IIAB (deemed university), Ranchi by Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt of India. He will represent agricultural and rural interests in the committee.

 

1850 labourers reach Bokaro station

As many as 1850 migrant workers and students stuck in Chennai Central in Tamil Nadu State arrived to Bokaro Steel City Station today on Thursday. During this time, all the workers were welcomed by the present district administration and many wishes were given for their safe return home.  All the workers coming here were alighted from the train following social distancing and after completing the medical scanning and other health check-ups by the medical teams in the station premises, they were taken in separate buses to reach their home district, said Additional Collector Vijay Kumar Gupta.

 

35 Corona positive cases in Hazaribag

The total number of Corona active cases has reached to 35 in Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital one is admitted in RMCH. Out of 55 cases, 19 have been discharged by the HMCH management.  All the new 7 positive cases came from Mumbai. In 7 cases, six were quarantined by the administration. One positive case had gone to his residence. The blood samples will be taken of all family members and sent for check. Hazaribag DC Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh said on Thursday that all the active patients are getting the best treatment by the specialist doctors in HMCH and improving day by day.

 

Man dies in accident

A 40-year -old man died and another man injured after the motorcycle they were riding on collided head-on with a car near Bank Of India under Chandwara thana area on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Surendra Yadav, resident of Chandwara. Police have seized the vehicle and sent the body for post-mortem

 

Body of girl found near waterfall

Police recovered body of a 22-year-old unidentified girl from the  Sukhaldari fall located under Dhurki police station around 65 km away from the Garhwa on Thursday, morning. Dhurki police on Thursday received a call at around 8 pm that dead body of a girl was lying on a rock at Sukhaldari fall about hundred feet below from the earth. Accordingly police rushed to the site and recovered the body. PS in-charge Ranvijay Singh said that body is preserved at Garhwa Sadar Hospital for post mortem.

 

MPL launches first indigenous shooter game

Mobile gaming platform Mobile Premier League (MPL) has partnered with Mumbai-based game developer Lifelike Studios to launch Rogue Heist, India’s first indigenous multi-player online shooter game exclusively on the MPL app, ahead of other platforms. Rogue Heist is developed by Lifelike Studios and backed by Bollywood Actor and Producer Arbaaz Khan and Time2play Gaming Studios.  Rogue Heist is one of the first multi-player Esports on the MPL platform and will see users face off against each other, with cash prizes for grabs for each battle and tournament. MPL currently has over 40 games on its platform.

 

Projects Today Survey
