A father and his son cooked up a kidnapping theory only to find themselves in hot waters. Palamu police not only found kidnapping theory a fake one but poorly drawn conspiratorial move of father & son.

SP Palamu Ajay Linda said this bizarre case of cooked up kidnapping was floated in village Jaipur under Nawa Jaipur police station of Palamu wherein the father planted a kidnapping case only to implicate some of his old enemies in this kidnapping, which never occurred but the police not only tore apart this manufactured story of kidnapping but also turned the heat on the father and his son for fabricated and imaginary kidnapping.

Officer in charge of Nawa Jaipur police station Upendra Kumar said the father Baalbrind Sahu and his 25 year old son Vikas Sahu cooked a kidnapping plan and the son Vikas just got disappeared from his house on Tuesday around 8.40 PM and his father Baalbrind Sahu went telling everyone his son was kidnapped and even began a search for him in the jungle of Chetma without informing Nawa Jaipur police station.

Linda said the moment he was told of this kidnapping he said he smelt rat in it but asked OCs of 3 police stations namely Nawa Jaipur, Paton and Manatu to trace this Vikas out and the police got him safe and sound resting in a friend’s house at Chura Dohar barely 3 Kms away from his Jaipur village on Wednesday May 27.

Linda said police acted too fast and professionally too as it took out the CDR of Vikas’s cell phone where it appeared this youth was in contact with his family for little over an hour after the so called kidnapping of him at 8.40 night of May 26.

Upendra said the CDR gave us his last tower location at Chura Dohar village and there our men found him in a friend’s house there sleeping blissfully in this hot & humid summer.

The SP said, “I have asked SDPO Sandip Kumar Gupta to prepare a detailed report of this episode where police will then pray to the court to prosecute the father and the son under section 182 and 211 of IPC for giving false information to police in regard to kidnapping which never happened nor was there even a remote tinge of it and also made police run here and there in his search which was a criminal waste of time of police in this Covid 19 time lock down.”
