5 Covid patients discharged after treatment at BGH

Five Corona-positive patients, whose reports came out negative were discharged from Bokaro General Hospital on Wdnesday. On the direction of Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Kumar, the district administration officials, Civil Surgeon Dr. Ashok Kumar Pathak and the doctors and officials of BGH bid farewell to all the five patients. Before sending the five patients home by the district administration, they were honoured by giving flowers and were given food items, fruit baskets, medicines and ration.
During the farewell programme, patients, who were cured of Covid-19 infection said that people do not need to be panic, since after seeing symptoms one should immediately contact the nearest hospital or through the numbers issued by the district administration and get himself immediately admitted to the hospital & same can be cured through counseling and balanced diet with proper diagnosis. During this occasion Civil Surgeon Bokaro Dr. Ashok Kumar Pathak, Director Bokaro General Hospital Dr. A.K. Singh, Dr. Gautam in-charge of BGH Covid-19 Unit, Sr. Deputy Director Dr. H Johnson Bhuiyan, Circle Officer Chas, doctors, personnel and other different officials were present.

Director of BGH Dr. A.K. Singh said that all the infected patients of Covid-19 have gone to their homes after getting better treatment at Bokaro General Hospital. Also informed Hospital is fully equipped for any medical emergency in district. A total of 5 teams are fully functioning at Hospital to prevent infection of Covid-19 and 16 medical staff have been deployed in each team to provide immediate health services to people during any emergency.
Dr. Rakesh Kumar Gautam, head of Covid-19 ward of Bokaro General Hospital, told that there is no need to be worried about Covid-19 virus. The most important way to prevent this is that all people must comply with social distancing as it is mandatory Reaches from one person to another through chain. Currently no effective medicine for the treatment of Covid-19 has been made all over the world, but by increasing the immunity power of people, this virus can be avoided to a great extent.
Bokaro District Civil Surgeon Dr. Ashok Kumar Pathak said that after 15 to 16 days treatment of corona virus positive patients, all were free from corona infection by Bokaro General Hospital. In order to get rid of the district completely from the impact of Covid-19, the common citizens of the district have to be vigilant and stay safe with their families in their homes, complying with the guidelines given during the lock-down.
