Boost Village Economy

Dear Editor,
India is a country where one can find many villages. Due to unavailability of basic needs and unemployment, most of the people prefer to move into the metro cities for work. The crisis came-up from this lockdown lead to migrant workers going back to their villages. In our country, the village economy mostly based on agriculture works.
Presently, farmers are facing many challenges. Sometimes, they are not reaching out to the break-even point by selling fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products. The government welfare schemes have not reached to all so far. There is a big scope in putting village economy up, if the government will be able to take it seriously and plan further to boost the village economy. It will be helpful for creating new jobs, fulfilling the needs of villagers and empowering them.
