Popular Weibo leakster, DigitalChatStation made a post which suggests that Xiaomi is developing a phone with a 144Hz LCD display. This device will also use a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chip. There have been speculations that Xiaomi will release a smartphone with this chip. At the official launch of the Dimensity 1000 series, Lu Weibing, president of Xiaomi Group China and general manager of Redmi brand, took the stage. This action sparked widespread speculations.
According to MediaTek, the Dimensity 1000+ uses the world’s leading 5G technology.
