Bill Clinton denies having affair with Jeffrey Epstein's alleged 'madam'

Bill Clinton has been forced to deny claims he had an affair with paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged “madam”, Ghislaine Maxwell.

According to a new book, the former President is said to have grown close to the British socialite, as both were friends with the late sex offender.

A Convenient Death: The Mysterious Demise of Jeffrey Epstein alleges the pair enjoyed trysts while overseas.

Married Clinton and Maxwell have previously been shown on flight logs – and in a picture – on the paedophile’s private jet, dubbed the “Lolita Express”.

A spokesman for Clinton, Angel Urena, denied the allegations, saying: “It’s a total lie today, it’s a total lie tomorrow, and it’ll be a total lie years from now.”

Maxwell’s lawyer did not respond to the Mirror’s requests for comment.

The book, out on June 2, claims Clinton “sneaked out” to visit the socialite at her Manhattan home.

“[Bill] and Ghislaine were getting it on,” a source who witnessed the relationship said. “That’s why he was around Epstein – to be with her.”

Dismissing the idea the ex-President was involved in any way with Epstein’s crimes, they told The New York Post: “[Clinton’s] stupid but not an idiot. He just used him like everything else.”

The book claims Clinton’s interest in Epstein was the Brit, who attended his daughter Chelsea’s wedding.

Maxwell, 58, once dated Epstein and has been accused in court of helping procure girls for him to abuse.

Ghislaine Maxwell has rejected all allegations against her.

Clinton, who had an affair with intern Monica Lewinksy, and Maxwell were spotted dining together at a Manhattan restaurant, a 2002 New York magazine article claimed.

Maxwell was also reported to have attended a 2001 charity gala with Clinton and their alleged relationship also carried over to events related to Clinton’s Global Initiative and Foundation.

It was through Maxwell that Prince Andrew, 60, began his friendship with Epstein. The paedophile, 66, committed suicide last August while awaiting trial for underage sex trafficking.
