Amazon Prime Day is one of the internet's biggest shopping events of the year. More than 1 million products across the site are discounted for Prime members, from tech and appliances to beauty and clothing.

Every year, Prime Day seems to get bigger and better. In 2018, deals lasted only 36 hours, and last year, Amazon ran a full 48 hours of deals.

When is Prime Day 2020?

Amazon has not yet announced the dates of Prime Day 2020.

Though it usually takes place in mid-July, the novel coronavirus pandemic and resulting changes in order volume and shipping policies have pushed the event back to fall. Reports say it could happen in September.

Last year, Prime Day took place from July 15 through July 16.

When will Amazon announce the dates of Prime Day 2020?

We don't know yet.

While the official announcement usually comes out about three weeks before the actual event, it could be revealed earlier in advance due to the circumstances of this year's Prime Day.
