One of the rising stars in the Absa Premiership has been touted as the player who could potentially follow in the footsteps of Percy Tau to stardom and success.

As he is expected to leave for Mamelodi Sundowns at the end of the season, after he reportedly agreed in principle on the move, Black Leopards midfielder Lesedi Kapinga has the blessings of his former coach Luc Eymael to succeed at the former African champions.

“Kapinga is a fantastic player. For me he can become the second Percy Tau. But he has to play. He has to play more and more and to be managed by a good coach. I know about Sundowns and him and all these things. It’s not a bad thing for him to sign at Sundowns, they have a very good coach. But if he doesn’t get game time it will affect him mentally,” said Eymael.
