Transfer Talk: Exiting SSU Winger Linked With Another PSL Outfit

by

A playmaker who is on his way out of SuperSport United, is now being linked with a move to another club in Gauteng.

SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews previously confirmed to local media that Thabo Mnyamane would be one of the players heading out the exit door at Matsatsantsa, this after the club opted against taking up the added one-year option on the 27-year-old’s deal.

Mnyamane’s current contract with the Tshwane side will come to an end on June 30 this year and according to Siya sources, a club in Gauteng is showing keen interest in the player.

Sources have revealed that Bidvest Wits have joined Chippa United in the race for Mnyamane’s services and as things stand, indications are that the Students are favourites to land the player’s signature.

Mnyamane has made just three appearances for SuperSport in all competitions this season, falling heavily out of favour in Kaitano Tembo’s side, with injuries not making the player’s situation any easier.

However, with his time at Matsatsantsa coming to an end, Mnyamane will be free to join any interested suitor, with indications that Wits could look to wrap up a deal for the player once the 2019/20 season comes to an end.
