Children’s Day: Presidency shares cute photos of Buhari playing with kids

Away from Nigerian politics, the presidency has shared some adorable pictures of President Muhammadu Buhari interacting with little children.
Legit.ng notes that Femi Adesina who is Buhari's special adviser on media and publicity shared the pictures to show the fatherly side of of the president as Nigeria marks Children's Day on Wednesday, May 27.
Adesina shared the pictures on his Facebook page with the caption:

Meanwhile, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has also shared a collection of his pictures with kids to mark the Children's Day 2020.
"This children's day, we celebrate limitless possibilities. Let us give them a chance to do better than ourselves.
"Happy Children's Day!" Osinbajo tweeted.
Also, the president of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has felicitated with the Nigerian children on the occasion of the 2020 Children's Day.
"I heartily felicitate with Nigerian children on the occasion of the 2020 Children's Day, a day set aside to highlight the realities of children in the society with a view to promoting their well-being and happiness now and for the future.
"The surest route to a happy and fulfilling future for our children is to provide them quality education and healthcare, and to protect them against all forms of abuse.
"Although, Nigeria is still heavily burdened with a high number of out-of-school children, I want to assure our children that the National Assembly is fully aware of the challenges they face and will continue to work to guarantee them and our country a better future.
"I urge for collaboration between the Federal and state governments in comprehensively addressing issues relating to the plight of Nigerian children.
"I also call on the authorities at the sub-national level who have not done so, to domesticate the Child Rights Act for the sake of the future of our children.
"On the part of the parents, I urge them to dutifully play their own role in providing the immediate needs for their children, for the future peace of the children, parents and the country," the Senate president said in a statement posted via his persona Twitter handle.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the senior special assistant to the president on media and publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, predicted that President Buhari will be showcased as a COVID-19 hero in Africa at the end of the pandemic.
The presidential spokesperson who made this known in an interview said that after the pandemic not only would Buhari be celebrated in the country, but also across West Africa.
“I will end this conversation with a prediction: by the time this whole epidemic situation is over, this president will be showcased as COVID-19 hero, not only in Nigeria, but in the entire West African sub-region which he leads,” he said.
