Spoilers: Vinny goes missing in Emmerdale after Paul reveals the truth

by

Vinny Ashdale (Bradley Johnson) was left devastated during tonight’s episode of Emmerdale, as he discovered that best friend Alex was actually his biological dad Paul (Reece Dinsdale), and — after berating Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) for keeping his dad’s presence a secret — he disappeared.

With Mandy having set in motion a meeting between she and ‘Alex’, she headed off to confront Paul, and she did just that.

Paul was shocked to realise his cover had been blown, but he refused to leave — in spite of Mandy begging him to do so.

Mandy became emotional, and therefore returned home — opening a bottle of wine to drown her sorrows — but Paul arrived, and he was determined to have it out with her.

A terrified Mandy attempted to get rid of him before Vinny arrived home, but it was ultimately too late, as the young man walked in, and became incredibly confused.

As Mandy attempting to keep up the pretence, Paul revealed the truth — confirming that he’s Vinny’s dad.

Vinny was devastated — not only at Paul for lying, but also at Mandy for not allowing him the opportunity to decide for himself if he wanted to get to know his dad.

Therefore, he headed off, and — later — Mandy was terrified as she and the entire Dingle clan were unable to locate him.

Where has Vinny gone?

Has he gone missing?

Or is he simply trying to take some time away from all the lies?

Emmerdale continues Friday 29 May at 7pm on ITV.
