Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas mask up for beach walk amid pregnancy rumours

Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas have plenty of Hollywood connections, what with their respective acting and music careers. 

But they kept things lowkey this Memorial Day, as parties were cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple made sure they masked up for a walk along the beach in Santa Barbara, California, amid reports that Sophie, 24, is expecting her first baby.

The Game Of Thrones actress was pictured wearing blue shorts and a white t-shirt, before she popped on a grey hoodie for a walk with her husband.

Sophie ditched her grey knee-high socks and her flip flops and was seen carrying both her and Joe’s shoes while they walked in the sand, led by their golden retriever.

The couple adopted the gorgeous dog last year following the death of their Alaskan Klee Kai, Waldo Picasso, last July, who was struck by traffic in New York. 

Joe, 30, also kept things casual in dark shorts and a t-shirt, and wore a pair of tinted aviators along with his face mask.

The couple, who tied the knot in Las Vegas last May, have not yet commented on reports that they are expecting their first child together.

A source told Just Jared in February: ‘The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them.’ 

A further source revealed: ‘Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body.’

While the stars are keeping tight-lipped on the prospect of a genetically-blessed bubba, they haven’t gone underground on social media (although they have been posting non-tummy-centric pics).

In fact, Sophie has even been doing interviews from lockdown, chatting to Conan O’Brien via video call.

When asked how she was finding lockdown, the homebody said: ‘‘If I could stay at home all day I would, so this is great for me. I leave the house once a day anyway to walk my dogs and then that’s it.

‘I heard the divorce rates are up. Joe and I are… everything seems to be working out in my favour here because Joe’s a real social butterfly so I struggle to lock him down and just spend time with me, so it’s kind of like prison for him but it’s great for me.’ 

Sophie and Joe started dating in late 2016, and stunned fans when after Joe had performed with the Jonas Brothers at the Billboard Music Awards last year, they headed on over to the Little White Wedding Chapel to make it official.

We weren’t technically supposed to know about that wedding, but it became pretty public knowledge when DJ Diplo live streamed the whole affair.

The Jonases then held a lavish second ceremony in France the following month, attended by their friends and family.
