Hollyoaks fans in tears as Ste reunites with Brendan Brady

by

Hollyoaks fans were left in tears during tonight’s edition of Hollyoaks Favourites, as iconic character Brendan Brady (Emmett J. Scanlan) was featured heavily.

The beloved character — portrayed by Emmett J. Scanlan — is, in fact, at the centre of all of this week’s classic instalments.

Tonight’s episode — the 3498th of the soap, but hey who’s counting? — was a pure Stendan classic from 2012, which saw Brendan and Ste (Kieron Richardson) take a trip to Dublin.

With some degree of tension having been present throughout, the episode concluded with a heart-warming moment, as Ste waited on the Ha’Penny bridge and — just as he’s given up hope — Brendan appeared, and they subsequently declared their love for each other.

No, you’re crying!

Viewers were incredibly emotional following the legendary episode, and many of them took to Twitter to remember the icon that was Brendan, and the iconic ship that was Stendan.
