'Completely useless' - fans react as Chelsea transfer target Timo Werner struggles in Leipzig draw
It was a rare off night for the Germany striker but that did not stop the hot takes from pouring in online

Timo Werner went from hero to zero according to some fans on social media having been taken off in RB Leipzig's 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin three days after scoring a remarkable hat-trick away to Mainz.
In reality Werner, the Bundesliga's second top scorer behind Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski, looked tired against an energetic Hertha side, unable to get much of a foothold in the game and was taken off with 12 minutes to go with the hosts 2-1 in front.
He also seemed hampered by the absence of his Danish attacking partner Youssuf Poulsen, who injured ankle ligaments against Mainz.
At the same time, Werner did play a role in the build up to Leipzig's second goal as they missed the opportunity to return to second in the table with a win. Jadon Sancho's Borussia Dortmund remain there before this weekend's games.
This is how some of the fans online reacted to the Chelsea and Liverpool transfer target's latest performance.
Seems over the top
Good news for Chelsea if so
He has excelled in a number of roles this season
It was just one bad night
