Doom Eternal Update 1.1 available for download, removes the Denuvo anti-cheat system
by John Papadopoulosid Software has released a new update for the PC version of Doom Eternal. As promised, this latest update removes the Denuvo anti-cheat system. However, it does not remove the Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
Furthermore, this patch improves overall performance. Going into more details, update 1.1 fixes several crashes associated with customizable skins. It also fixes memory-related crashes affecting some users. Additionally, it reverts a VRAM allocation change that caused some users to experience degraded performance with Update 1.
Needless to say that this patch features all the tweaks and improvements that were present in Update 1.
As always, Steam and Bethesda Store will download this patch the next time you launch their clients. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
