Cinema firm launches £20 food delivery box full of popcorn, nachos and more

With cinemas across the country closed due to the coronavirus crisis, there are tonnes of snacks sitting around just waiting to be sold.

Until now, that is.

Since you can’t visit your local cinema just yet, many have taken to creating movie nights at home instead.

To make them even more authentic, you can now get a food box packed with cinema snacks delivered right to your door, reports the M.E.N .

The PCO Group, which supplies popcorn, nachos, slushy drinks and pick and mix to cinema screens, is now selling a movie package for £20.

Each box includes more than two kilos of sweet popcorn, including a popcorn bag and a metal popcorn tin, and can be ordered via scottcinemas.co.uk .

The boxes contain:

• 2.2kg sweet cinema popcorn (comes with a popcorn storage bag to decant into)Nachos (2 x 800g)
• Selection of 4 dips
• Crunchy Crisps (2 x 200g)
• Candy floss (1 x 30g)
• Movie theme metal popcorn tin

One customer has shared her box on TikTok, asking: "Is that not the best thing you've seen in your life?"

The whole thing is being sold through the Scott Cinemas website.

The demand has been overwhelming and sells out most days - you'll need to log on from 9am to try and grab yourself a box.
