
Arrest made in connection with Saturday assault
The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries
by Blair AdamsA Kitchener man is facing a long list of charges following an assault in the city on Saturday afternoon.
Waterloo Regional Police made the arrest on Tuesday.
A 63-year-old man faces charges including assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, and weapons charges.
Officers were called to Highland Road West and Lawrence Avenue around 5 p.m. that day.
One victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries after being struck by an edged weapon.
Police say they are not looking for any other suspects.
