Over $10K raised for Cambridge woman's children after tragic crash
The 28-year-old mother was killed in a single-vehicle collision on May 24
by Erin AndersonThe community is coming together to support the children of a Cambridge woman, who was tragically killed in a weekend crash in North Dumfries.
It happened Sunday morning in the Branchton Road area.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, and has been identified by her family as Karli. She was 28.
A 27-year-old Cambridge man also suffered serious injuries in the single-vehicle crash.
Karli's family has launched a GoFundMe page, which states she was a single mother of two young children.
The fundraiser is asking for donations to help support the kids.
"We are in the process of setting up a trust to help them go to school, pay for counselling, and for the little things that Karli would have given them along the way. There will never be enough money in the world to take the place of their mother who loved them unconditionally," reads the page.
The GoFundMe had a goal of raising $10,000, and over $10,700 has been raised so far.
