Nigerian man makes it, appointed president of Obama foundation

Another Nigerian, Adewale Adeyemo, a 39-year-old man has been appointed as the first president of the Obama Foundation.
It should be noted that he is the former deputy national adviser for international economics. He was very helpful in how America was able to overcome recession many years ago.
In his new role, the Nigerian would be working with the foundation to manage operations of the organisation.

The Obama Foundation has grown its workforce to almost 200 and has a number of programs to support the next generations of enablers.
“Wally is the ideal person to help lead the Foundation team as we continue to grow the impact of our global civic engagement programs and advance the Obama Presidential Center,” said Nesbitt, the head of the board.

Other parts of his responsibilities will be to implement and execute the foundation’s core plans and policies that are targeted at his global vision.
Another thing worthy of note is that the man holds a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and a J.D. from Yale Law School.
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that the United States Mission to the African Union recognized the effort of a Nigerian man, Oluwayomi Zeblon, for helping his peers during coronavirus pandemic.
A student at Lagos State University, the young man was able to organize a teaching session for his mates online in order to empower them to bring about change in their communities.

He was described as an inspiring leader who is passionate about making others achieve development by helping them overcome their weaknesses.
“The youth are enthusiastic about the development. They just don’t all know how to go about it, how to get started.
“I noticed a lot of youth called to action during the pandemic were lacking the skills needed to implement their projects,” he said.
Oluwayomi believes that he could equip his peers with the required tools or motivation to make changes happen in their societies.
In other news, a Nigerian man with the name Seye Oduyale achieved great success as he graduated from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
The Nigerian's achievement came after he had sent out applications to eight different medical schools and got admitted into Johns Hopkins.
Seye’s mum gave the push he needed to succeed as she urged him to apply to the top American school.
In a Twitter post Wednesday, May 20, the young Nigerian spoke about how his mum encouraged him to achieve his dream.
