TDP’s Digital Mahanadu A Superhit
by Sridhar Raavi, By Mirchi9In the wake of Coronavirus Pandemic, Telugu Desam Party(TDP) has gone digital for its annual conclave, Mahanadu. The TDP Digital Mahanadu is happening on the Zoom App and has connected over 14,000 party workers across the globe. The proceedings were also being live-streamed on Facebook and Youtube.
The Zoom Meeting faced outage many times due to heavy traffic. The two-day event will also move several resolutions against the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Many party leaders will talk on different topics and the event will conclude tomorrow with Chandrababu‘s address.
This is the first time a political party is holding such a huge conclave digitally. The TDP organizes the annual Mahanadu on May 28 to coincide with the birth anniversary of its founding president, NT Rama Rao. As an annual practice, the party pays tribute to its founder and passes resolutions on prevailing matters.
Last year, the TDP had skipped organizing the meeting due to the General Elections.
