by Richard CusackNottingham Forest have sent Aro Muric back to Manchester City and have not extended his loan spell at the club, according to reports.
Website The Athletic are reporting that Muric has returned to the Etihad Stadium and will not play any role for Forest once competition resumes after the break enforced by the coronavirus pandemic.
Muric's loan spell would have been over by now with the deal officially running out on June 30 had the pandemic not caused the 2019-20 season to be put on a temporary hiatus.
The Kosovo international joined the Reds in July after an impressive campaign in the Carabao Cup with Manchester City the season before.

Muric has been with City since 2015 and is contracted with Pep Guardiola's team for another four years.
