Cyclist suffers fractured collarbone after being hit by a car

Police are appealing for witnesses

A cyclist suffered a fractured collarbone and elbow after a crash involving a car on the A612 at Bulcote.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following the collision which happened at about 12.30pm on May 5.

PC Alex Henstock, who is investigating the incident at Nottinghamshire Police, said: "This collision, which involved a small dark-coloured car, happened on a busy road during daytime hours so we're urging anyone who saw what happened to please get in touch.

"We would also like to hear from any drivers who may have recorded dashcam footage of the incident.
