Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ certification appears online, could have massive 9800mAh battery

Many of us wish that our devices can last for hours on end. It's even better if we can watch movies or play games without worrying about the battery. Well, it looks like Samsung agrees when it comes to tablet, as new info of the Galaxy Tab S7+ indicates. Sources show that the upcoming tablet could feature a very large battery.

According to GalaxyClub (in Dutch), the Galaxy Tab S7+ will come with a battery with a typical capacity of 10090mAh and rated capacity of 9800mAh. Evidence of this was found on the China Quality Certification Center, which specifically had a listing for the tablet's battery. Also, a listing for a Samsung device with the code name SM-T976B was found on the Wi-Fi Alliance's website. This is also believed to be the Galaxy Tab S7+ and hints at a release that's coming sooner than later.

If this is indeed the Galaxy Tab S7+ in question, it means that its battery capacity is significantly higher than its predecessor's 7040mAh. That makes sense, as it's supposed to be the variant with a 12.4-inch screen that has the larger battery. The larger body should be able to accommodate the increase in battery capacity.

So far, there aren't any other details on the device. But it's most likely going to be announced along with the Galaxy Note 20 series in August 2020, so we can expect to hear more of it in the coming weeks. With that said, is the large increase in battery enough to make you consider getting a tablet? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for further updates.
