Podcast: How can designers help brands drive rapid digital change?
Design Week caught up with Studio Output creative director Johanna Drewe and Resn creative director Simon Jullien to find out.
by Tom BanksMany brands are undergoing digital transformation during the pandemic as they strive to be relevant and useful to their customers.
Designers are helping businesses do this by identifying and delivering meaningful interactive experiences, adapting existing services and creating new ones to add value.
Here we’re joined by Studio Output creative director Johanna Drewe and Resn creative director Simon Jullien for a conversation about how designers can help brands find new opportunities in digital spaces.
Drewe recalls her experiences of working with brands including AutoTrader and a new Government product for accessing grants. She asks if designers and brands need to think about designing new pathways for customers to access services during lockdown and even questions whether we should be thinking about mobile-first when customers are making use of other devices within the home at the moment.
Meanwhile Jullien talks us through this recent project where Resn was tasked by bike company VanMoof to create a rich interactive launch experience for a new product in just four weeks.
