Xiaomi releases Kids Mode for PatchWall; comes with parental control and more

If you own a smart TV powered by Android TV, then you are definitely displeased with Android TV’s lack of multi-user accounts. This means there is only one interface and contents for adults and kids are displayed together. Xiaomi has announced a solution called Kids Mode for its PatchWall interface that ships with its smart TVs.

The new Kids Mode allows for a separate interface for your little ones when you turn on your smart TV. Below is a list of the features that come with the new Kids Mode:

Parental Lock
Safe Universal Search
Smart Curation
Free Educational Content

There is no info on the roll-out, so we have no idea if this is a feature rolling out to certain models or in certain regions. However, if you own a Xiaomi Smart TV, you should check if you have an update available. Do let us know in the comment box when you get the feature.
