Manchester United bosses make £140m decision amid Jack Grealish transfer chase
Aston Villa news - Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big admirer of the claret and blue talisman
by Ben Husband, https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/authors/ben-husband/Manchester United have reportedly taken out a huge £140m loan that could be used to fund player purchases when the window opens.
With the coronavirus suspension changing football as we know it, the upcoming window promises to be one of the more unusual in recent years.
United vice executive chairman Ed Woodward has recently warned supporters that it won’t be business as usual in terms of clubs dishing out extortionate transfer fees.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s transfer priority is believed to be Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish, with the United boss a big admirer of the midfielder.
Along with Grealish, Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho and Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham have been linked, with fees reaching over £200m for the three.

And according to Mail Sport, United have taken out the funds from the revolving credit facility (RCF) in order to spend some cash in the next window.
The report claims that the RCF is usually used during the summer window when a club looks to buy players with values substantially more than the players being sold.
The transaction comes just days after Solskjaer reassured supporters that the club is still actively pursuing deals.
"Of course we're always looking. We're following what's happening but the transfer window will be open later probably, so we'll just have to finish off the season, see where we are & then probably do deals if there are deals to be done."
Grealish is set to cost any potential suitor upwards of £80m, with Villa’s wealthy owners not willing to allow their most prized asset leave on the cheap – regardless of which division they find themselves in next season.
