DC Reveals Instagram-Exclusive BATMAN Comics Ahead of Title's Return

In the later hours of Tuesday evening, DC debuted the first in what is framed as a series of Instagram-exclusive Batman webcomics by the series' creative team which serves as preludes to the title's return on June 9.
"Hey! While on break, I cooked up a handful of prelude stories with Guillem March to give you a taste of Gotham while you're waiting for Batman to return next month," Batman writer James Tynion IV tweeted. "They'll be on DC's Instagram, in their stories. The first of them is up now, featuring PUNCHLINE!"
That first story hits the nail on the head in the opening dialogue, with Punchline saying "I've been waiting for this for a long time... and I'm not going to wait any longer."
The first of these comic strips is a 10-panel story formatted specifically for vertical cellphone orientation, and can be viewed here.
Tynion and DC have not announced any plans to make these available to non-Instagram users or to be collected in comic book format.
