Vogue Williams has opened up about the effect that her marriage breakdown with Brian McFadden had on her mental wellbeing.

The successful model and TV star has admitted that she battled severe anxiety following her split with former the former Westlife star.

The pair fell head over heels for one another in 2011 and tied the knot just eight months later in 2012.

Three years later, Vogue and Brian announced that marriage had broken in the summer of 2015.

Pregnant Vogue - who shares son Theodore with Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews - has been working on her mental health ever since.

Speaking to The Times newspaper, the blonde beauty revealed that after the split, she was riddled with anxiety.

Vogue described this difficult time as one of the worst times of her life as she tried to get her head around the end of her whirlwind relationship with Brian.

"That was probably the worst my anxiety has ever been. And since then I've never had it as bad.

"Since then it's been a work-in-progress because I started to see a therapist and I became very mindful of my training, of the way I was eating.

"Everything shifted after I was more careful of myself. You don't realise how fragile you can be until you've gone through something like that — but now I don't get it so much because I live with Spenny."

Vogue and Brian married in 2012 in a civil ceremony at the registry office in Dublin.

Afterwards, celebrated by throwing a huge wedding party in a much bigger affair in Florence.

Announcing the break up at the time, Vogue took to Twitter to share the sad news.

She penned: "It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways. We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and we wish each other all the very best for the future.

Vogue and Spencer are expecting their second child this summer

After their split, Vogue soon met her match in Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.

The pair share son Theodore together and are expecting a baby girl in July.

Meanwhile, Brian is engaged to Danielle Parkinson and the pair plan to tie the knot as soon as the coronavirus lockdown ends.
