Six people killed in shooting in Saudi Arabia's Asir province
The deceased are in their 30s and 40s. The wounded were taken to the nearest hospital.
by Khitam Al Amir, Senior Staff WriterDubai: Six Saudi men were killed and three others injured in a shooting in Asir province, southwestern Saudi Arabia, the official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Lieutenant Colonel Zaid Mohammed Al Dabbash, Asir police spokesman, the incident occurred on Tuesday, killing six people and wounding three others. He was quoted by SPA as saying: “Security authorities received a report about the shooting in the Amwah governorate of Asir province on Tuesday morning.”
The deceased are in their 30s and 40s. The wounded were taken to the nearest hospital.
"The injured were taken to the hospital and the weapons used in the crime were impounded. Investigations are underway and police will arrest the remaining suspects and refer them to the public prosecutor's office," Al Dabbash said.
The shooting occurred in the Amwah governorate of Asir province. Al Amwah is 128-kilometer drive northwest from the city of Khamis Mushait.
