KSA to resume local flights, railway operations

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) announced that domestic flights through national carriers will be resumed on Sunday, 31 May.

GACA will coordinate operations with airports, air carriers, civil aviation companies to meet the local demand, while taking all necessary health measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), GACA said in a statement late on Tuesday.

On 21 March, the GCC nation halted all local flights amid rising concerns over the pandemic. 

Moreover, Saudi Railway Company (SAR) announced the resumption of its operations also on Sunday. Trip booking will be available to the passengers from Wednesday, 27 May.
