Aisha Jumwa Among 7 Nasa MPs to Be Expelled From House Committees
by Eddy MwanzaMalindi MP Aisha Jumwa is among 7 National Super Alliance (NASA) legislators who were on Wednesday, May 27, kicked out of all Parliamentary House Committees.
House Minority Whip Junet Mohamed sarcastically stated that the legislators would be 'isolated and quarantined for six months' after which the decision would be reviewed.
National Assembly Deputy Whip Chris Wamalwa was also set to be ousted from his office in proposed changes to be adopted on Thursday, May 28.
The other leaders set to be axed include: Tindi Mwale (Butere), Vincent Kemosi (West Mugirango), Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Sylvanus Osoro (South Mugirango), Nakara Lodepe (Turkana Central), and Bungoma Woman Rep, Catherine Wambilianga.

“These members we are removing have shown that they are no longer going to subscribe to NASA.
“They have joined some groups hovering around town…some of them have been loitering around failing to attend committee meetings," Junet explained.
Trans Nzoia ODM leaders have come out with a statement asking the party's top leadership to hand the deputy minority whip position to Caleb Amisi, in the planned reorganization.
Led by County Steering Committee Chairman John Otieno, the leaders made it clear that they were fully in support of rebels being relieved of any key positions to avoid sabotage.
"We want Amisi to be handed this position and then the rest can follow. If Wamalwa is to be removed for supporting Deputy President William Ruto, then the position has to go to our man.
"We have had that some people have gone to party Leader Raila Odinga behind closed doors to angling for the likes of Eseli Simiyu, Wafula Wamunyinyi or the Kwanza MP to take up the post, this cannot happen," Otieno asserted.
