KFC is keeping the good news coming this week by announcing that another Liverpool restaurant has reopened.
The chicken chain closed all 900 restaurants in the UK in March to prevent the spread of coronavirus, but announced last month that it would reopen for delivery on a limited basis.
Last week, just days after being told “good things come to those who wait” , KFC revealed that three Liverpool sites would reopen for delivery and drive thru, including East Prescot Road, Litherland and Stonedale Retail Park.
On Monday, the fast food favourite revealed that its Great Homer Street restaurant is now open for drive thru only.
Now, KFC’s city centre restaurant on Chaloner Street has reopened for drive thru and delivery.
Fans should be aware that KFC will be in demand after being closed for so long, and may sometimes not be available on delivery apps because of this.
In a statement on its website, KFC said: “We’re experiencing incredibly high demand and we’re still running a limited service in restaurants, so sometimes we may not show up as available in your delivery apps.
“We’re working to get back up to full speed as soon as we can - if we’re not appearing, please do check back again later to get your chicken fix.”
The fast food chain has confirmed that there will be strict processes and hygiene measures in place, with a limited menu to help smaller kitchen teams maintain social distancing.
This follows the news that McDonald’s would be reopening another 975 branches next week.
