A man was charged on suspicion of assault of an emergency worker after an incident in Wirral.
Robert Bowe, 44, of Clover Lane Drive in Birkenhead was charged with assault, criminal damage and racially aggravated public order offence.
Police were called to out to a house at 12.05am on Tuesday, May 26 after reports of a disturbance.
Robert Bowe was arrested at the scene and remanded in custody to appear before Wirral magistrates court today.
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We have charged a 44-year-old man with assault, criminal damage and racially aggravated public order following an incident in Wirral.
“Officers were called to a house in Clover Drive in Birkenhead, at 12.05am on Tuesday, May 26, to reports of a disturbance.
"A man was detained at the scene.
“Robert Bowe, 44, of Clover Drive, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker x 4, criminal damage and racially aggravated public order.
“He was remanded in custody to appear before Wirral magistrates court today, Wednesday, May 27.”
