Alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus Could Ship With Massive 9800mAh Battery
by John LawAs Malaysia still awaits the arrival of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, Samsung seems to have been hard at work making its next flagship tablet, dubbed the Galaxy Tab S7+. If that wasn’t enough, rumours surrounding the alleged tablet seems to suggest that it will be fitted with battery far larger than what is currently being used in the Tab S6.
According to a report by SamMobile, the Galaxy Tab S7+ is expected to ship out with a massive 9800mAh battery. For context, the current Galaxy Tab S6 tablet houses a 7040mAh; that’s a nearly 40% increase in battery size.
Moreover, the tablet in question will also be available in two sizes: one in 11-inch and another with a 12.4-inch display. Regardless of size, it seems that the large battery sizes will be standard for both models.
Beyond that, there’s no additional information about the rumoured tablet. Considering Samsung’s habit and the trend it has followed thus far, however, it is possible that the supposed Tab S7+ may be fitted with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, come with support for Samsung’s S Pen, and even have its audio delivery tuned by AKG.
As it stands, Samsung has yet to make any official statement or attempt to dispel the rumours, so do take this with a large grain of salt. On that note, it’s also likely that any news and announcement of the device will be done via a livestream, given the current COVID-19 situation.
