Leprechaun whisperer ‘visits spirits under mountain every day’ during lockdown
by Rishma DosaniA leprechaun whisperer revealed how he has been caring for the ‘spirits’ every day during quarantine.
We were put into lockdown back in March, due to the coronavirus pandemic that has affected millions around the world.
And, appearing on This Morning, Kevin Woods opened up about how isolation had affected the leprechaun community.
Speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford he explained there are 236 leprechauns left – and he has an ‘obligation to protect’ them all.
‘Leprechauns are spirits, they manifest themselves as leprechauns,’ he began.
‘I visit them under the mountain each day to check them out. I’ve been up there every day, I haven’t broken the restrictions.
‘I communicate [with] them through an out-of-body experience. I don’t want to go deeply into that but it’s an out-of-body experience. Everyone knows what I mean.
‘I can transfer my spirit up there.’
While Eamonn and Ruth were more concerned with how to pronounce leprechaun, Kevin ended the chat by insisting the traditional portrayal of leprechauns in films and TV shows is wildly different.
He added that they wear a ‘red jacket and two types of shoes’.
This isn’t the first time Kevin has popped up on the show, discussing the leprechaun community with Alison Hammond last year.
‘I communicate to them through shamanism, it’s a kind of out-of-body experience,’ he said.
‘Some see then as ghosts, some see them as angels – I see them as leprechauns.’
Recalling the first time he stumbled across the mythical creatures, he continued: ‘I was out on a walk and I saw three leprechauns. I couldn’t move I was frozen to the spot. I was like that.
‘They jumped off the rock and disappeared beneath it, and I then found a tunnel from the mountain which ran all the way through Carlingford Lough, and over to The Mourne Mountains in Northern Ireland.
‘Every morning when the sun comes up, all the leprechauns come dancing through this tunnel and they dance together through these rocks here and underneath the sea.’
This Morning continues on weekdays, at 10.30am, on ITV.
