Motorola Razr 2 Will Not Feature Ultra Thin Glass (UTG): Analyst
According to a well-known analyst, the Motorola Razr 2 will not feature Ultra Thin Glass (UTG). The Galaxy Z Flip is the only foldable smartphone to feature such a glass layer on top of its display.
This information comes from Ross Young, who shared a ton of display-related information lately. He talked about the upcoming Galaxy Note series devices, along with several other smartphones.
The Motorola Razr 2 will not include a UTG display, it seems
The Motorola Razr 2 information started leaking out, and many people assumed that Ultra Thin Glass (UTG) will be included. Well, that won't be the case. As you can see, Ross Young is not only guessing, but he seems to be sure of it.

He's usually spot on when it comes to information like this, so… there you have it. The Galaxy Fold 2, on the other hand, will almost certainly include UTG glass.
Truth be said, UTG glass did not really help the Galaxy Z Flip all that much. The device still has a soft layer on top, and it still scratches easily. It's better than it was on the Galaxy Fold, but still, it's an issue.
We're eager to see what sort of improvements will Samsung bring on the Galaxy Fold 2, though. That device, by the way, is expected to launch in August, along with the Galaxy Note 20 series.

The Motorola Razr 2, on the other hand, is expected to arrive in September. That is something the company itself confirmed a couple of days ago. To be more accurate, Lenovo's South Africa General Manager did.
According to reports, the company is planning various improvements for the device. That is to be expected, as the Motorola Razr which arrived last year has a number of issues, some of which are hardware-related.
The phone is expected to ship with the Snapdragon 765
In any case, if reports are to be believed, the second-gen Motorola Razr will be fueled by the Snapdragon 765 SoC. The phone is also rumored to include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

A 2,845mAh battery was also mentioned, while a rear-facing camera(s) will also be upgraded. The company is allegedly planning to utilize Samsung's ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor, a 48-megapixel sensor.
Android 10 will come pre-installed on the device, with a number of improvements for the Quick View display. The phone is also said to feature 5G connectivity, but not mmWave 5G network support.
That is basically all the information that we have thus far. The device will probably resemble its predecessor quite a bit. The Motorola Razr 2019 is a really nice-looking smartphone.
