Sony Makes Vlogging Easy With New ZV-1 Camera
Equipped with 4K shooting, a product showcase mode and more.
by Eric BrainSony‘s all-new ZV-1 digital camera is a device specifically made for vlogging, coming equipped with a host of features that are designed to make a content creator’s life easier.
Firstly, the camera comes with 4K shooting capabilities and a 20.1 megapixel stacked CMOS image sensor. This is paired with a 28-70mm equivalent lens, which sacrifices a longer zoom range for a wider f/1.8 aperture. It is coupled with a bokeh switch that allows you to select a professional defocussed background without any technical manual adjustments.
Sony has also equipped the ZV-1 with a host of functional modes, from the “Product Showcase” setting that perfectly switches the focus at the press of a button onto an item that you may hold in front of the camera in your vlog, to super slow-motion and time-lapse modes.
Furthermore, videos are easily transferrable to other devices, and the camera is designed with a windscreen for clearer outdoor recording. The Sony ZV-1 retails for $748 USD and can be purchased on Sony’s website and at select retailers worldwide.
