Sky Q HDR - What are the free new channels on Sky and what's on them?

What are the new free channels on Sky?
Sky customers have now got three new channels for no extra cost – Sky Documentaries, Sky Nature, and Sky History.
These are live channels which also have a range of on-demand programmes that you can choose from.
They’ll do pretty much what they say on the tin in that they’ll show a range of feature-length documentaries, nature and history programmes respectively.
As for the new High Dynamic Range (HDR), this function allows for more of a contrast between the light and dark parts of what’s on your screen provided you have a HDR compatible TV.
HDR compatable TVs are usually 4k, but there are some exceptions.
The first new shows coming equipped with HDR will be broadcast on the new Sky Nature channel – Pridelands: Wilderness Reborn, Gangs of Lemur Island and Malawi: Wildlife Rescue.
More are channels are set to have HDR soon, with Sky Sport due to have it in 2021 and some Sky Cinema films set to have it by Christmas.
Your Sky box will have likely updated itself overnight, so you probably won’t have to do anything to get these updates. Just turn your TV on and enjoy!
