3 CISF Personnel Deployed at Delhi Airport found Corona Positive, 57 Infected so far -

Corona report of a total of 3 Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) soldiers deployed at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday came out to be positive, besides this a total of 22 CISF soldiers have been infected with coronavirus within the last 24 hours across the country.

On Monday too, 18 soldiers posted at Delhi Airport were found Corona positive, all these people were in Quarantine and were not on duty for the last 10 days. Contact tracing of the infected security personnel was done and after which they have been quarantined, whereas all the people came in contact have been kept under strict supervision of the Health Department.

In Delhi, a total of 57 corona personnel of the Central Industrial Security Force are infected, whereas the number of Corona-infected CISF personnel has reached to 26 in Mumbai, 3 in Kolkata, 2 in Chennai, 1 in Hyderabad, 4 in Jharkhand. There have also been cases of one each from Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh, whereas so far 137 CISF personnel have been cured of corona infection.
