The return of Marcus Rashford is an especially enticing one, and probably a necessity considering Odion Ighalo is set to depart Old Trafford in the following week.

With both Pogba and Rashford yet to team-up with new arrival Bruno Fernandes it will be interesting to see how the pair of them will gel with the Portuguese midfielder.

Solskjaer now has a couple of weeks to bed them into the team and to get the Red Devils firing before the start of the season.

If the Norwegian can get it right, the partnership promises to be an exciting one with Pogba and Fernandes’ creativity supplying the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial the potential for a goals galore is high.

Of course with both Pogba and Rashford having endured long term injuries, the Norwegian will be wary of not wanting to rush them back too quickly.
