Three new cases of COVID-19, brings total to 206

Three new confirmed cases of COVID-19 were reported, taking the total number of cases to 206, according to the statement by the Ministry of Health and Sports on 26 May. They are from the Mandalay Region and had travel histories to India. They will be sent to Waibergi Hospital.

On 26 May, 670 samples—559  by National Health Laboratory (Yangon) and 111 by Department of Medical Research-were tested. Among them, three people coming back from India were tested positive.

On May 26, there are 124 recovered from COVID-19 and 114 were discharged from hospitals.

From May 25 to May 26, there are 62 cases under investigation.
