Sundowns have until May 31st to take up the option on the player’s deal and should they not do so come June 01, Mohomi will leave the Chloorkop-based club on a free at the end of the season - and so far, four clubs are showing interest in the player’s services.
As reported last week, Ari Efstathiou confirmed that Mohomi would be on Ajax Cape Town’s wish-list should they get promoted to the top flight next season, while sources have revealed that SuperSport United are still keen on the midfielder.
In addition, according to Siya sources Stellenbosch FC and Highlands Park are showing an interest in the player, keeping a close eye on his situation at the Chloorkop-based club.
As things stand, should Sundowns not exercise the option by the end of the month, Mohomi will be free to open up talks with any interested suitor.
