Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that the internal crisis rocking the opposition party in Kaduna state took a curve twist as members of the party suspended on the ground of alleged anti-party activities appealed their suspension.

It would be recalled that Hunkuyi, Hon. Hashim Garba, Ibrahim Lazuru, Dr John Danfulani, Lawal Imam Adamu and Ubale Salmanduna were suspended by the Kaduna PDP caretaker committee on Saturday, May 16.

But in a sudden turn, Hunkuyi, and others, in an appeal letter signed by John Danfulani and directed to the north-west zonal working committee chairman, said they were not given a fair hearing before the decision.

The aggrieved members said they based their appeal ground in pursuance of section 61 (1) of the PDP constitution which gives aggrieved members the "the right of appeal to the immediate higher organ of the party within fourteen days of the decision.”
