IDS Media UK launches digital hand sanitising kiosks for event venues

IDS Media UK has launched a digital hand sanitising kiosk for use across the conference and event sector. The kiosk, called Messenger, features a contactless dispenser releasing SteriZar sanitiser liquid killing 99.999% of bacteria and lasting for up to six hours on the users’ hands. SteriZar is alcohol free and safe for people with sensitive skin. The kiosk also has a built-in 21-inch digital screen that can be used to display imaginative content such as how to sanitise your hands and the health benefits or third-party adverts.

Many event venues are particularly susceptible to outbreaks of colds and flu because of the high volume of users from different areas and one of the most important ways to stop the spread of germs and prevent illness in these settings is to encourage good hand hygiene. Messenger will be crucial in the months to come in light of the current Coronavirus Pandemic as the events industry starts to open its doors. Already proving extremely popular in over 500 gyms across the country to date. IDS Media UK’s Messenger units are also being used in supermarkets and other retail outlets, restaurants, doctor’s surgeries and airports during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
